Scope of Work
Managed complete project design and construction from the ground
up. Designed home, including floor plans, window and exterior finish selections. Oversaw creation of construction documents, helped with location of home on building site, and managed sub-contractors. Worked with town to obtain permitting and inspections. Selected all finishes for whole house design. This included: flooring, paint colors, wallpaper, tile, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, kitchen design, appliances, bathroom design, window coverings, and furnishings. Created specification documents for contractors, produced built-in drawings, developed furniture floor plans and design boards, managed orders, coordinated deliveries and installation.
Young family purchased old farmland with an abandoned home and dilapidated outbuildings that they had demolished and constructed a new 5,000+ square foot home with a timber framed barn and a guest cottage.
